Utilidad local

Esta herramienta no llama a ningún servicio externo. Los datos sensibles introducidos no se conservan.

Cómo se usa

Paste the two texts you want to compare into the two fields and run the tool. The result is a similarity percentage.

Qué comprueba esta herramienta

Both texts are normalised and compared at word level. The comparison looks at the text itself; formatting, HTML structure and page template are not considered.

Cómo leer el resultado

A high score is not automatically a problem: service pages routinely share a common description of process. The problem is two pages targeting the same search intent with very little that distinguishes them. For such a pair, deciding which page answers which query matters more than rewriting the prose.

Ejemplos

Compare the body copy of two template-generated service pages, or check whether two language versions of a page were genuinely translated.

Casos de uso

Useful for content teams, anyone building multi-page service structures, and multilingual site audits.

Errores frecuentes

The most common mistake is treating similarity as a technical penalty. Google has no separate duplicate content penalty; the usual outcome is that only one of the similar pages is shown. The second is pasting navigation and footer text, which inflates similarity artificially.

Límites de esta herramienta

The tool sees only the two texts you paste. It does not search the web for copies, does not read canonical tags, and cannot tell you which page Google has selected as canonical.

Privacidad y tratamiento de datos

Both texts are discarded after processing; only an anonymised run record is kept.

Preguntas frecuentes

Is duplicate content a Google penalty?

No. Google has no separate duplicate content penalty. The usual outcome is that one page from a similar set is shown and the others are not.

What similarity percentage is acceptable?

There is no fixed threshold. What matters is whether the two pages answer different search intents; if they answer the same one, they compete regardless of how different the wording is.

Does it scan my whole site?

No. It compares only the two texts you provide.
