What does the tool do?

Show every safe redirect hop and the final HTTP outcome.

How does it work?

Each hop is requested separately; URL scheme, DNS, IP, port, and redirect destination are revalidated before the next request.

What data is analyzed?

HTTP status codes, Location headers, protocol and host transitions, final URL, loops, and failures.

How should results be interpreted?

Broken or looping chains are Critical. More than two hops and temporary redirects need attention.

Limitations

  • — The chain is capped at five redirects.
  • — Only ports 80 and 443 are allowed.
  • — Authentication and browser-only redirects are not executed.

Privacy and data retention

  • — Every hop is requested server-side; your browser never contacts the analyzed host.
  • — We store the tool key, a normalized URL, the hop count, and the final status — not the response bodies.
  • — Credential-like query parameters are redacted before the run is recorded.
  • — Your IP address is stored only as an irreversible hash for abuse protection.
  • — Results are not published, are not indexed, and never appear in our XML sitemap.
